Debomat has brought to the company QUICK-STEP IN 2003 the idea
to create a product wich could better protect laminate flooring against 
scratching by stones and sand brought into the house by shoes.

This has the advantage that laminate flooring now can be installed up to the
front door. Because there was no solution in the beginning, laminate
flooring was limited to the living room and/or the bedrooms.

After 4 years of development and propositions, the finished products is available  
in the shops. An aluminium frame wich can be easily fixated inside 
QUICK-STEP laminate flooring together with the mat with 3 cleaningzones
named the QUICK-STEP doormat
